I'm a writer, editor, audio journalist and researcher based in Boston. Currently, I’m a news editor at the cybersecurity publication The Record, as well as a freelancer writing about science, the environment, politics and the strange times we're in. In a past life, I was the Deputy Managing Editor of The Phnom Penh Post in Cambodia where I managed the paper’s long-form coverage and edited its national news content. As a reporter in Cambodia, I wrote about the environment, human rights, politics, culture and food.

I’m an alumnus of the University of California - Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, where I specialized in long-form print and radio reporting. My reporting has taken me to Beirut, South Sudan and Cambodia, as well as throughout much of the United States.
